Every child, teacher, and even parent of I-Kids students wait for the function of school. Everyone gets to enjoy, celebrate, and have fun together. Students performed on different dance styles of North India giving a feast to the eyes of guests and parents.

KARUNA INTERNATIONAL AWARD
The Montessori Karuna Club conducted maximum number of activities in all categories and bagged the Excellence award & Cash prize for the year 2021-22. The award was presented at the National Conference at Chennai on.
Christmas Celebrations
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Montessori Sr. Secondary School, A-Camp. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The essence of Christmas came alive when Santa Clause himself went into the classes. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them. The delightful celebration included children coming in red and white colour party dress, bringing their favourite food in the lunch, dancing and sharing the merriment together.
National Mathematics Day
| National Mathematics Day was celebrated at Montessori Sr. Secondary School on the 22nd of December, 2022. The day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Indian Mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. The main aim of the celebration was to awaken the interest and temperament towards the subject through thought provoking skit, Quiz, speeches, Songs and dances proving that learning mathematics is good for one’s brain and it helps everyone in dealing with their finances, time and many more daily aspects in life. |
| Montessori senior secondary school, A-camp, kurnool celebrated “Dancin Feet” its Annual Day on the 21st of December, 2022. Many eminent dignitaries were present at the annual day celebration, including the Directors, Head Mistress and Board Members of the school. All the students and their parents were invited to this function. The program started at 5:30 p.m. with the Hostess delivering her commencement speech and the lighting of the diyas by the Head Mistress. In the first half of the program, the students from Class 1 & 2 entertained everyone with their beautiful dance and drama performances. Before the commencement of the second half of the program, the annual report has been presented by Academic coordinator of CHRYSALIS. Soon after that, many performances based on the famous tracks in different languages mesmerized the audience.” KANTARA” was the spine chilling performance and stood as the SHOW STOPPER” The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. After three hours of grand performances by the students, the program ended with the Hostess proposing the vote of thanks and extending her warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Day function. |
Winter Day Celebration
Winter is not a season it’s a celebration, this season is characterized by cold wind, snow fall, show days and long nights. On 3rd of December, we celebrated Winter Day in Montessori I-Kids, A-Camp, Kurnool. Students wore jackets, hats, scarves, gloves and joined the celebration. Mrs. Hepsiba, the Headmistress addressed the children saying “winter is very pleasant and cold. In this season, we need warm clothes, sweaters, blankets, quilts” etc. Class teachers showed some woollen clothes which are used during winter season. |

Diwali celebrations
Junior Montessori school kids enthusiastically took part in the Diwali celebrations.
Every year is celebrated as Grandparents’ Day as it happens. We celebrate this day to honor grandparents, to give them an opportunity to show love for their children’s children, and to help children become aware of the strength, cultural practices, good traditions, and guidance older people can offer. The program starts with lighting of the lamp with our Chief Guest Dr. GAYANI RAJASEKHAR. Grandparents realize their role in educating their grandchildren.
Felicitation of teachers mark Teachers’ Day celebrations
Felicitation of teachers and a string of other activities highlighting the role of the teacher in the society marked the Teachers’ Day in Montessori School held every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Scores of teachers and heads of institutions were honoured by the respective headmistress for their extraordinary contribution in enriching the field of education.
Janmashtami Celebration
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny-tots of pre-primary section at Montessori Sr. Secondary School, A-Camp, Kurnool. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.
The Headmistress of the school along with the teachers encouraged the students and enjoyed the function thoroughly.
